Trauma Course

This course is run in conjunction with Dr Hollander from the Trauma unit at IALCH and Dr Kampik and Naren from the SMART Centre.

Registrars in various departments are trained on the various aspects of trauma management. An entire day is spent in the SMART Lab where the groups of up to 8 participants are paced through 9 scenarios on Stan.

These include anaphylaxis, pneumothorax, hypovolemia, can't intubate, etc.
